Ingeborg Jensdatter was born, roughly estiamted, about 1680 in Hjørundfjord. She was the daughter of Jens Knudsen. The 1696 probate after her father Jens Knudsen Leere names his oldest daughter Ingeborg Joensdatter.[1]
Ingeborg married Erik Nilsen Stennes about 1702. They lived at Stenes in Hjørundfjord. Their children were:
- Marte Eriksdatter (~1710 - 1766)
- Nils Eriksen (~1710 - 1740)
- Gjertrud Eriksdatter (~1713 - 1779)
- Anne Erichsdatter (~1716 - 1766)
- Brite Eriksdatter (~1717 - 1749)
- Ingeborg Eriksdatter (~1721 - 1761)
- Lisbet Eriksdatter (~1725 - 1756)
The 1735 probate after her husband Erik Nilsen Stennes names his widow Ingebor Jensdatter and seven children.[2]
She was buried on 31 Mar 1752 in Hjørundfjord.[3] The age given on her burial record was 75 years.
Her probate dated 16 Sep 1752, Aklestad in Hjørundfjord, names her daughters:[4]
- Marthe Erichsdatter, married to Knud Wagelset
- Anne Erichsdatter, married to Colbein Achlestad
- Giertrud Erichsdatter, aged 34 (guardian: Colbein Achlestad)
- Ingeborg Erichsdatter, aged 30 (guardian: Jens Knudsen Leere)
- Lisbeth Erichsdatter, married to Morten Larsen Urche
