Dorthea Elisabeth blev gift med Christian Pedersen 9 Jun 1909 i Randers Sankt Mortens sogn.
Christian døde 14 Feb 1915 og Dorthea blev borgerlig viet til enkemand Carl Marinus Espen Espensen 2 Dec 1922 på Aarhus Rådhus.
