Biography

Elven was born in Idaho in 1897. He was the son of Benjamin Jensen and Clara Tolman. In 1918 Elven married Mabel Edna Brown and they were parents of three daughters. They first farmed near family in Chesterfield Idaho. By 1930 they had moved to California where Elven was employed as a welder and during WWII he was employed at The Mare Island Navy Yard. They resided in Vallejo, California where he continued to work as a welder and locksmith. He was in Pocatello, Idaho when he passed away in 1968 at age 71.
