Biography
Richard son of Isaac Jepson of Tansley was christened on 2 January 1673/4 in Crich, Derbyshire, England.[1]
Richard Jepson, tailor of Heage, made a will on 10 June 1741 naming his eldest son John, son George, daughter Ellen Calladine and her husband William Calladine, daughter Elizabeth Jepson, daughter Mary Jepson and wife Elizabeth. The inventory totalling £9 1s. and 8d. was taken on 2 July 1741. Probate was granted at Chesterfield on 21 April 1743 to his widow Elizabeth.[2]
