Isaac Jerome was born on 25 October 1786 at Charlton, Saratoga Co., New York. He was the son of Aaron Jerome and Betsey Ball.[1][2] Isaac Jerome married Aurora Murray, daughter of Reuben Murray and Sarah Guthrie, on 18 March 1807 at Pompey, Onondaga Co., New York.[1] Captain Isaac Jerome died on 19 July 1866 at Syracuse, Onondaga Co., New York,[1] at age 79, and was buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse, New York.[3]
Isaac was a Lieutenant in the Grenadiers 98th Regiment, Onondaga County Militia in 1815, Captain in 1819. He lived at Pompey, Manlius and Palmyra, New York.[1]
