Biography

Ellen was the youngest daughter of Samuel Jervois and Ellen^[1].

She married Patrick Cussen on 26th May 1808.^[2][3] They had:

1. Ellen who married William Nagle in 1827^[4]
2. Constance, who married Edward Coveney (?) in 1830^[5]
3. Anne, who married Thomas Tangney in 1832^[6].

Ellen's death was reported as follows "On the 18th inst., at King-street, Ellen Cussen, widow of the late Patrick Cussen, Esq., of this city, and youngest daughter of the late Major Jervois, of Braed, in this county.".^[7]

Research Notes

Burke's Irish Family Records say she married secondly Henry Owen Becher and had six children^[1], this was her niece.
