Anderson Jeter was born in 1786 in Amelia County, Virginia in British Colonial America. He passed away in 1842 in Green County, Kentucky, United States.[1]
Anderson was the son of Rodophil Jeter, from a distinguished colonial family, and Lucy A Gill.
He is listed in the US Census of 1810 living in Virginia.
[2] He married Sorrow Susan Allen in Cumberland County, Virginia.[3] He served in the War of 1812[4] and moved to Kentucky shortly thereafter.[5]
The US Census of 1840 shows that he lived in Green County, Kentucky at that time.[6]
Anderson passed away at the age of 56, and is buried in the Jeter Cemetery in Greensburg, Green County, Kentucky.[7]
