Biography

Margaret Jewell was born in 1792. She was the daughter of Joseph Jewell and Jean Jane Ratchford.

Margaret married A W Mattox on 30 October 1810 in Oglethorpe, Georgia, United States.[1]

She passed away after 1870.

In her husband's will, she was left three slaves - Martin, Nelly and Sarah. Martin and Nelly Maddox live near Margaret in the 1870 US Census. [2]
