We're contacting you for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. We really appreciate your involvement in the Project in the last year. Thank you so much for all your help to improve Australian profiles on WikiTree.
Please could you reply to this message, or send me a private message to let us know if you'd like to stay on in the Project, and if you'd like to make any changes to the teams that you belong to. The teams are listed on Australia Project Teams.
If you've moved on to other things for the moment, that's absolutely fine. We'd appreciate if you'd let us know so that we can remove you from the membership list.
Over the past year, Australia Project members have been more active on Discord. We're finding it a fun way to communicate as a project. As you are already a member of the dedicated Australia Project server (WikiAustralia) where all our chat channels are located, we hope you'll join the chat! It's a great way to communicate with other members on your project team/s, or for any general questions.
We're always happy to receive any ideas or suggestions that you have to make our project even better.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
The Australia Project Leadership Team ~ Gillian, Margaret and Veronica

Esther's maiden name was Cowburn, as per the sources on her profile
Could you please amend her Last Name at Birth or add me to her Trusted List so I can make the change myself.
Thanks Steve
Elle, thanks for your work to improve the tree.
You can see these appear in the list at My WikiTree -> Suggestions - thanks!
It's time for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. Thank you so much for contributing to the project and Australian profiles on WikiTree during the last year. We really appreciate you!
If you would like to stay in the project, please reply to this message or send me a private message to let us know that you would like to stay on. Alternatively, if your WikiTree and research interests have moved away from Australia, please let us know and we can remove you from the membership list for the moment. You will, of course, be very welcome to rejoin the project down the track whenever you want to.
We are also keen to know if you want to make any changes to the team or teams that you want to focus on. Take a look on Australia Project Teams to see what teams there are to choose from. If you want to discuss this, or have any questions or suggestions about the Australia Project we'd love to hear your ideas.
Thanks for taking the time to get back to us!
Kind Regards
Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator
Thank you for your 26 contributions to the November Sourcerers Challenge! As you know, every source added to an unsourced profile improves our One Tree. Thank you for taking time from your own family history to help others.
You're most welcome. I'm still rather new to WikiTree myself and I've made my fair share of errors along the way. No doubt we'll get better as we go along. Good luck with your research. Elle
Thanks, Dorothy B. Integrator Project coordinator.
The Australia project has a page for category requests, Australian Categories Waiting to be Added or Renamed. You are more than welcome to add any category requests to that page.
Regards, Margaret, categories team leader
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Gillian, co-Leader, Australia Project.
I noticed that you used the Challenge Tracker to track changes during the last Sourcerers' Challenge. Please consider officially joining us for the Sourcerers' Challenge. You can find information, including how to join, on the Sourcerers Project page. To get directly to the current G2G thread, here's the October Challenge thread.
No pressure, every profile with a source makes our WikiTree better. Your work will continue to be included on the Tracking Sheet even if you do not register.
Your work is appreciated. Thanks for sourcing!
Debi - Sourcerers' Challenge Facilitator
PS You can put a nickname in Preferred First Name if you would rather we didn't address you as Anonymous. That's how I get Debi to show rather than the name I only heard when my mom was mad *grin* If you did want to be Anonymous, that's OK too!
Thanks for your message.
I think I responded to the G2G October Challenge thread yesterday. I had so much fun doing the source-a-thon that I figured why not give this a go as well.
I think I'm starting to become addicted now.
Thanks for the tip regarding a 'nickname' - I think that's a good idea. Will have to give it some thought.
Thank you for your message. I am still very new to WikiTree and am still figuring out much of it, including the challenges. I didn't really know what the initials stood for when they appeared in my Challenges menu. I incorrectly assumed that because it appeared in my challenges 'menu' that it was somehow relevant to the record/s I was updating. I don't think I will be needing to use this category in the future. My apologies for causing any inconvenience caused. Many thank,

If you click your green tags it will show you member's who are also following that tag, if you tag shows only you on the list then the tag needs to be revied or split into two tags, you can have 20. Add green tags for family and other surnames, only use surnames as the system is based on surnames. You can also add tags for locations or interests - explore the project link for these. Tags link you to the community sourcing & research options, to add more tags (you can have 20) go to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following You can find more information about tags here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags
Please avoid the use of abbreviations as they can mean different things in different countries, always use the full words, Also please ensure you create profiles that are sourced see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources too learn more about sourcing
