Biography
He was a twin with his brother, Joseph.
Daniel was married twice 1) Nancy Caroline Curtis October 17, 1842 and 2) Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Cheek 1847.
There was some objection to his marriage to Elizabeth Cheek as she couldn't read or write, but Daniel felt she would be a good mother to his baby daughter and he could teacher her to read and write.
After the 1880 census was taken, he moved to Texas.
