Biography

Emma Rosetta was born in 1870. She is the daughter of Johan August Carlsson and Wendla Sophia Johannisdotter.[1] Emma Rosetta left Fagerhult parish for the United States with her parents on April 3, 1884 at the age of 11.[2]

They arrived in New York, New York, United States on May 26, 1884 aboard the ship The City of Chicago from Liverpool, England. Their stated destination was Michigan and all were put under the last name Carlson.[3]
