Dear Nathan. One of my great grandfather's was Edward Lockwood born 1810. Married 1833 in Poughkeepsie to Helen Boerum. Edward had a son Charles. Charles had a son William Morgan L.. I can't find anything on Edward. If you ever run into anything at all I'd be so grateful to hear from you. Sincerest thanks. Bill
It's time for our annual Australia Project membership checkin. Thank you so much for your involvement in the Project in the last year and for all your help improving Australian profiles on WikiTree. Australia Project members play such a vital role in Australian genealogy on WikiTree.
Please could you reply to this profile comment (don't add a new comment!), or send me a private message to let us know if you'd like to stay on in the Project, and to let us know what you plan to work on for the next year, and if you would like to change any of the teams you are on. Our teams are listed on Australia Project Teams.
We know that people move on to new things, so if you no longer want to be in the Australia Project, please let us know so that we can remove you from the membership list.
Over the past year, Australia Project members have been more active on Discord. We're finding it a fun way to communicate as a project. As you are already a member of the dedicated Australia Project server (WikiAustralia) where all our chat channels are located, we hope you'll join the chat! It's a great way to communicate with other members on your project team/s, or for any general questions.
We're always happy to receive any ideas or suggestions that you have to make our project even better.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
The Australia Project Leadership Team ~ Gillian, Kylie, Margaret and Veronica
I am compiling a family tree for James and Jeannie Lawrie of Gresford,
and have found that both Stanley William Cox and his daughter Edna Alice married into the fourth generation!
Stanley married Ivy Jean Hipwell, and Edna married Walter Francis Skaines!
Walter Francis and Ivy Jean were cousins. Their mothers were sisters, Magalene Hopson and Mary Hopson.
I hope some of this was new to you.

Hi Nathan, I notice you have added information to Mary Eganthat has no documentation to back it up. I have sent you a private message, and will remove the information.
Thank you so much for the FindaGrave correction on Johnson-147296! Embarrassed I missed it myself because I was the one who requested the grave merge lol, so much appreciate you spotting the error.
thank you for merging the Grave for Arthur Ittner! He is my great grandfather. I have much family history but have so many deceased people. takes a lot of time to ensure all the information is accurate, I'm working on updating his history. soon...
Nathan, I saw where you added some biography information to Mary Lexa formerly Maxa. I don’t think that her parents on that profile are correct. She was already several years older when the parents married.
Hello Nathan I notice you have added my Grandfather, John Thomas Dance-Wilson info ie burial location, are you related to either him or Auntie Jeanie Hodges (née Dance-Wilson). Did you visit Tweed Heads Cemetery?
Hello Dianne. No, I am not related to John and I did not . I just added the category to his profile. On his profile he has a link to a website called Find A Grave.com that has volunteers that take photos of the headstone and cemetery.
We're contacting you for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. We really appreciate your involvement in the Project in the last year. Thank you so much for all your help to improve Australian profiles on WikiTree.
Please could you reply to this message, or send me a private message to let us know if you'd like to stay on in the Project, and if you'd like to make any changes to the teams that you belong to. The teams are listed on Australia Project Teams.
If you've moved on to other things for the moment, that's absolutely fine. We'd appreciate if you'd let us know so that we can remove you from the membership list.

Thanks Nathan for responding to the check-in message, and for your ongoing contributions to WikiTree and the Australia Project, they are much appreciated!
Thank you for adding to the biography of Aline Hopkins Carnley. She was my Mother-in-law. I would like to know a little more about you. Do you live in the USA?
I noticed that you added the Amherst Cemetery Category to 3 profiles managed by the Acadians project: (Blanchard-92, Lambert-395, Blanchard-477). Just to let you know that I removed the category because a burial in Amherst is based on inaccurate information in the Find a Grave memorial. No burial records have been found for them. See the G2G discussion here: wikitree.com/g2g/75301/radegonde-lambert-blanchard-memorial-historical-inaccuracies?show=75343#a75343. Headstones for Acadians who died before 1800 are pretty much nonexistent and burial records are extremely rare. Many Acadian settlements and parish records were destroyed during the Great Upheaval (1755-1763).

It's time for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. Thank you so much for contributing to the project and Australian profiles on WikiTree during the last year. We really appreciate you!
If you would like to stay in the project, please reply to this message or send me a private message to let us know that you would like to stay on. Alternatively, if your WikiTree and research interests have moved away from Australia, please let us know and we can remove you from the membership list for the moment. You will, of course, be very welcome to rejoin the project down the track whenever you want to.
We are also keen to know if you want to make any changes to the team or teams that you want to focus on. Take a look on Australia Project Teams to see what teams there are to choose from. If you want to discuss this, or have any questions or suggestions about the Australia Project we'd love to hear your ideas.
Thanks for taking the time to get back to us!
Kind Regards
Margaret Haining
Membership Coordinator
Was doing some research on the Queensland Monteith line (whom I'm distantly related to via my Rowland line) and came across your Kasper data while entering in a spouse (very well sourced profiles you have I might add). I made a connection with Rita Kasper who married Ivan Frank Monteith. You already had her parents Theodor Albert Kasper and Emily Corrie on WikiTree so I simply added Rita to them.
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out our annual check-in to see how you are going in the project. We'd really like to give you a huge thank you for all your work on Australian profiles over the past year! We've made great progress in 2020/21 with your assistance.
Please could you reply to this message, to let us know if you would like to stay on in the project and if you are happy with your current role and team involvement.
If you would like to do something additional or different, take a look on the Australia Project page to see what other opportunities there are.
It would also be great to get any feedback or suggestions that you have to improve the project.
Could you please change the Last Name At Birth on Frederick Storrs Turner to simply Turner. All the records state his last name was Turner. His middle name of Storrs -- never part of his last name -- was his mother's last name, and he should not have a hyphenated last name. It has been 4 months since this was stated.
Thanks so much for fixing the sources for me on the John Andrew Meek profile, I nearly cried when looked at the profile view and couldn't see what I had entered - I was doing it late at night and not sure what I did wrong this time (sourcing and I are NOT good friends lol) - glad to have data doctors who are on the ball ;)
Welcome to the Australian Projects team. I am working on the Eureka Stockade project. You will find most people on Wikitree to be supportive & helpful. If there you have any questions I'm happy to find an answer.

Hi Nathan, welcome to the Australia Project. We are delighted that you have joined us :) To follow discussions relevant to Australia on the G2G, don't forget to add Australia to your tags. If you have any questions, or I can assist you with anything, please don't hesitate to contact me. Regards, Gillian, co-Leader, Australia Project.
The Global Cemeteries Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Cemetery Teams? If not, is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!
We use Google Groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their followed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (CEMETERIES) so you don't miss any discussions in G2G.
Last, but not least, we would like to thank you for all of your contributions to WikiTree and let you know that any ideas or suggestions for improvement you may have for the Global Cemeteries Project would greatly appreciated!
Wow great start, were the Member How-Tos pages helpful or did they leave you with questions?
