Ida Matilda Johansson was born on 10 June 1871 in a hamlet called Pederså in the parish of Kimito, Turku ja Pori, Finland. She was the daughter of Johan Gustav Johansson (1844–1925) and Gustava Eliædotter Michelsson (1843–1887).[1]
In 1871, the family moved to Dragsfjärd Nr.67.[2] They settled in the village of Dahlsbruk, a factory town. [3]
In 1873 the family moved to Pargas, where Johan worked in a large sawmill in Attu from 1873-1878. Ida's parents stayed in Pargas the rest of their lives. They lodged at the Östergård in the village Mågby from 1886. Ida became a maid in the village Våno in 1886.[1]
Ida Matilda Johansson married Samuel Samuelsson Kujala. They had three daughters.

Ida Kujala died on November 21, 1906 in Parainen, Turku ja Pori, aged 35.
