Biography
Birth - no baptism record, so assume non-conformist. Birth date from my gt-aunt's diary [Eleanor's cousin], and from 1939 Register.
Never married.
Employment - Nellie John was one of the first women graduates of the U of Wales - she taught all her life.
Death - she was apparently alive in 1966 when my cousin and my sister visited her in Mountain Ash - 'visited aunty Mary Johns...extremely old [he was only 20!] and full of arthritis' he wrote to me.
