McKenzie was born in 1901. He was the son of Minor John and Cecilia Hill.
McKenzie John, 88, Wisconsin Veterans Home, King, died on Saturday, July 8, 1989, at 3:40pm, at the veterans home. He had lived at the WVH since June 1976, coming from Green Bay. He was a World War II veteran and retired gardener. He was born on April 7, 1901 in the Town of Hobart, WI, a son of the late Minor C. and Cecilia John. Survivors include one son, a daughter, three sisters, one half-sister and two half-brothers.
Burial was in the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.[[1]]
He passed away in 1989.
