Richard Stanley John was born in 1888 in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom, son of William John (<1844 - 1922) and Jane (Preece) John (~1844 - 1937).^[1][2]

In the 1891 census Stanley (age 2) was the son of William John in Cardiff St Mary, Glamorgan, Wales.^[3]

In the 1901 census Stanley (age 12), Scholar, was the son of William John in Glamorgan, Wales.^[4]

In the 1911 census Richard (age 22), Clerk Merchant Protection, was the single son of William John in Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales.^[5]

Richard married Ethel Rose Findlay (1894 - ) on 23 Dec 1922 in Cardiff.^[6]

Richard died in 1953 in Glamorgan, Wales aged ~65.^[7]
