Biography

Legacy for Kensey Johns mentioned in the will of Richard Johns written at Calvert Cliffs, 15 AUG 1717.

I have formerly made over to my son Kensey Johns the moyety of a parcel of land called Meares containing about 200 acres and also 100 acres adjoining being part of the tract I now dwell upon called Angellica. I do now give to my son Kensey Johns one other 100 acres part of my tract of land called Angellica adjoining that I formerly gave him. I also give part of a tract of land called Whittes Rest which I bought of James Belcamp containing 157 ½ acres and also that parcel I bought of William Griffen and his wife called Chance containing 50 acres.[1]
