Jeremiah was born in Ventura County in the Seventies. Although he would have liked to be one of the blithe, lithe skaters who tricked and tracked their way through the lanes of Silver Strand beach where he lived, instead he was a thoughtful eccentric. Despite this, he persevered to adulthood. His grandfather, mother, brother, and cousin all committed suicide at various points of his life, which shattered his faith in the Universe's essential goodness and meaningfulness. He swore he'd be the last dude on Earth, outliving all the other Knudsons, outliving all the sentients on the planet, but he feared the grey miasma of meaninglessness and depression would take him eventually. He moved to Portland to pursue a life of hedonistic debauchery and monastic study of avocations like genealogy. And that's where we find ourselves now. His quest is to find his birth father, who he's never met. An Ancestry DNA kit gave him the ability to fill out the paternal side of his family tree. Are you the long lost relative who will give him the essential clue which will lead to the culmination of his quixotic quest?
