Biography
Loveday Jane Johns was born about 1841 and was baptised on 2 July 1841 at Ruan Major, Cornwall[1]. She was the daughter of Richard Johns and Loveday Exelby. Her father was a Labourer of Cartharrow.

In 1871, 29 year old Loveday Johns was a domestic servant in the household of John Pollard (60) and his wife Mary Pollard (52) at Weeths, Germoe, Helston, Cornwall. By 1881, 41 year old Loveday Johns was a domestic servant in the household of William Lugg (59) and his wife Mary Lugg (59) at Trethvas Farm, Landewednack, Helston, Cornwall.
The couple were living in Thesoddern Cottage, Ruan Major, Cornwall with their two daughters Edith Jane Laity (9) and Harriett Grace Laity (6) in the England Census Records of 1891[6][7].
She died in 1894 aged 51 and was buried 21 September 1894 at Ruan Major, Helston, Cornwall[8][9][10]
