Sarah Azelie Johnson was born on October 5, 1828 in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, United States.

Sarah (23) married Leandre Pitre (35) (born on February 7, 1817 in Opelousas, USA; son of Francois Pitre and Eugenie (Guillory) Pitre) on June 22, 1852 in Opelousas, Louisiana.[1][2]

Their known children were:

After Leander's 1860 death, Sarah married John Langley.[2]

Sarah died on August 5, 1890 in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, aged 61.[3]
