Biography

According to the Book: "Washington 25 Generations, October 19, 1781" by Jim White, William Johnson, III was born in Northumberland County, Virginia the son of William Johnson, Jr. II and Elizabeth Cox. On the on the 18th of May 1690 at St. Stephens Parish Church, in Northumberland Co., VA, William, III married Mary Bennett, daughter of Robert Bennett and Elizabeth Broadhurst. William and Mary had at least two children before 1703, when William Johnson, III died in Lancaster Co., VA:

  • 1. John Johnson (died 1721) No issue
  • 2. Elizabeth Johnson, who married Samuel Bonam, VI, son of Samuel Bonam V and Katherine Champe

William Johnson, III died in 1703 in Lancaster County, VA, and his Wife Mary remarried Joseph Ball.

William Johnson, (1st name requires additional sources),Chesebro'-3 was born about 1668. He passed away in about 1750. [1][2]
