Campbell "Camel" Johnson, son of Samuel Johnston and Sarah (Pennington) Johnson, was born on 6 Feb. 1811 at Perry County, Kentucky.[1]
He married Sarah "Sallie" Turner[1] in 1836 in Clay County, Kentucky.
He was a farmer when he and Sarah appeared on the census of 12 Sep. 1850 at Perry County, Kentucky.[2] He was a farmer when he and Sarah appeared on the census of 28 June 1860 at Perry County, Kentucky.[3]
Campbell died on 19 Nov. 1898 at Perry County and was buried at Johnston Cemetery, Buckhorn, Perry County, Kentucky. His memorial has photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
Their children included Franklin, Nancy, Susan, James, John, Betty, Ed, Green, Samuel, Margaret, and Joseph.
