Biography

Margaret Devona Johnson was born on 18 Feb 1906 in Springhill, Cumberland, Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of Anton Johnson (~1866 - 1937) and Margaret Jane (Cook) Johnson (~1870 - 1954).

Her siblings were:

  1. Caroline Ruth (Johnson) DeCosta (1894 - 1986)
  2. Frederick Earl Johnson (1898 - 1934)
  3. Bertina May Johnson (1904 - 1932)
  4. Harold Austin Johnson (~1907 - )

Margaret married Phillip A Ryan (born in Nova Scotia in Mar 1904; died in 1984), son of John Thompson Ryan and Elizabeth Marion Mitchel, on 30 Jun 1926 in Springhill.

Margaret died in 1977 in Nova Scotia aged ~71. She is buried in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.[1]
