Biography
Caroline Johnson is a part of US Black heritage.
Caroline Catherine lived in Iredell Co, NC on the Johnson-Neel Plantation. She was enslaved and owned by William Cook Johnson. When Johnson died in 1856 Caroline was at first was hired out,[1]
and then was deeded to William's daughter, Mary Jane Johnson at probate.[2][3]
