Biography

"William3 (Jonathan2) was born Dec. 15, 1665 (Birth record: MA Vital Records to 1850, Marlborough, Middlesex Co. MA, Vol 1: 117.); married Hannah, daughter of Thomas and Hannah (Remmington) Larkin Jan. 27, 1684. She was born in Charlestown July 15, 1667; and died Dec. 18, 1696. He married second in Sherborn Hannah, the daughter of William and Hannah (Lovett) Rider, Nov. 7,1699. She was born in Watertown May 28, 1680; and died Dec. 18, 1757. William Johnson died June 5, 1754. In 1706 he was a highway surveyor in Marlborough, and in 1708 he and his brother were constables. He had a grist and a saw-mill east of his house on Stony Brook, and furnished the nails and the lime for the new meeting-house. He was the administrator of his brother's estate, and the guardian of his six youngest children. He left a will.^[1]
