JOHNSON—February 19th, at Lion House, Wrexham, the wife of Mr S. R. Johnson, of a son.[2] He was baptised on 2 August 1891at St Giles, Wrexham.[3][4] There is also another baptism record for 2 March 1891 at Wrexham.[5][6]
He married Elizabeth Kelsall in 1914 at Wrexham.[7]

Philip Johnson died young (from pneumonia) in 1918 at Bedford Military Hospital, Bedfordshire, England (place of death recorded on grave surround). [10]
