Biography
Walter Johnson is a part of US Black heritage.
Walter was born in 1911 in Texas. He was the son of Johnny Johnson and Flossie Beasley.[1]
Walter served as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Walter married Myrtle Hicks; they had one daughter together.[2]
Walter later married Jessie Wilmore; they had seven children together.[2][3]
He passed away in 1982 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.[1] He was buried in New Cedar Branch Cemetery in Houston County, Texas. [4]
