Rev. Daniel Johnson, born on 5 Nov. 1783 in Bridgewater,[3] married Maria A. Sampson, daughter of Capt. Simeon and Deborah (Cushing) Sampson, of Plympton,[4] on 29 Oct. 1809 in Plympton.[5] She was baptized on 27 June 1784 in Plympton,[6] a granddaughter of Peleg and Mary (Ring) Sampson.[7] He graduated from Brown University in 1806, and was a Minister in Yarmouth, MA.[8]
