Biography

Frank was the 4th of 8 children of Joel Johson and Ella FLorina Kier Johnson. He was born in Kansas shortly before his family moved to Pawnee County, Indian Territory, which became Oklahoma. His family moved to Okemah, Oklahoma around 1904 to open a hotel and furniture store.

He married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ada Williams 11 Nov 1909 in Okemah, Okfuskee County, Oklahoma and they moved to Seminole, Oklahoma.

Frank suffered a brain injury and spent most of his adult life in a mental hospital in Vinita, Oklahoma where he died in 1946. He is buried in Memorial Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma next to his mother and sister Peggy Elvina.

We have family photos of him and his 3 brothers in military uniforms during WWI but we cannot find any paper work to prove that he was in the military.
