Hi, I'm new to geneology, I was always interested in my genetic history and jumped in after discovering some details of my birth parents. A combination of the resources at 23andMe and some family tree work at Ancestry have given me some details of my birth family history but also shown me how complicated family trees become when you have a glut of information that gets shared, but is rarely confirmed for accuracy. I'm drawn to the structure of Wikitree and hope to provide some useful contributions.

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.
