Johnson.[1] In the 1900 census Edward (age 51), Teamster, was the married head of household in Washington, Washington, Indiana.[2][3] In the 1910 census Winfield (age 61), Farmer, was the married head of household in Washington, Washington, Indiana, United States.[4]
He was buried at Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem, Washington County, Indiana.[5]

Based on my memory of pictures of him on slides my dad had(which are long gone now) I remember him being of a large body frame, a long beard, firm looking face, strong,could hold his own. No doubt most men back in those days, with the massively hard physical labor they had to do men had to be strong,physically and ready to handle challenges.
