Ann married Obediah Martin and resided in Overton County, Tennessee most, if not all of her life. According to the 1900 census, Ann had 9 children, 8 of whom were still living at that time.
Ann and Obediah had the following children:
Amelia E.
James
Isaac
Bertha
Marion/Menan
Elizabeth
John
Margaret Alice
Obediah T.
Ann died in 1909 in Fox Springs, Tennessee[1] and is buried in Fellowship Cemetery, Oakley, Tennessee.[2]
Research notes
Ann's middle name is sometimes listed as Burrows. Its not clear if this is actually a married name from a first marriage, or an actual middle name. Two census records give her middle initial as "V." The Familysearch index incorrectly shows Ann's 1880 census returns as sharing a household with a Burris family. The original shows as a separate household. its possible that they are related, or that the improper indexing resulted in an incorrect assumption by a researcher.
