Biography
Obituary From the Morgan County "Democrat". Dated Friday Nov. 4th. 1904, page 6,Col 1,. Obituary Reads-- "Daniel Johnson was born in 1818 and departed this life Oct.27,1904. He was married in 1851 to Caroline Corner, and to this union were born eight children, three of whom survive, Will, of Zanesville; Charles, of Stockport,and Mrs. John Darnell, of Hooksburg.
Mr.Johnson was born near Luke Chute, and has always resided within a radius of five miles of his birth-place. He was in very poor health for a number of years and his death had been expected for some time. A wife, three children and seven grand-children survive him.
Public funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Caldwell, of Zanesville, Interment in Stockport cemetery." End Obit. Daniel Johnson was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Johnson. Posted 2/29/06 By Jerry D.
