Disputed Origins

Raymon Tingley Meyers,[1] notorious for false genealogies, claimed that James was the daughter of Davy Johnson and Elizabeth Cole without citing any evidence. Anderson (GMB) says that Mr. Davy Johnson had no recorded children, and that James' parents are unknown.

I added them. They apparently died young as did several other of their siblings who are not attached.

James Johnson and second wife Abigail Oliver are recorded parents of Samuel Johnson, parent of Jonathan Johnson 1682-1741 who married 1. Sarah Mansfield 1683-1728; mar. 2 Susanna Moore who is recorded as More, Mower, Moor, and Moor, thus concealing her being daughter of John More 1640-1694 and Susanna Marshall 1661-1727; John More being son of Richard More, Mayflower passenger to William Brewster, page 47, arrival of Ship Mayflower Dec 1620. Samuel Johnson-84342 is brother to twins James and John Johnson born 27 Mar 1652; (Robert Charles Anderson, The Great Migration 1620-1635, Boston, 1995, Vol. 4, I-L, p.73). My comment is this, where is the profile of the twins in wikitree or Puritan Great Migration Project?
