Millie Dean Whittinghill, 69, of Morgantown died at 6:55 p.m. April 21, 2007, at her residence. The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and member of Jock United Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Cal Johnson and Shellie Meredith Johnson. Funeral is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Chapel, with burial in Carl Whittinghill Cemetery. Whittinghill; a daughter, Abby Shepherd and her husband, James, of Morgantown; three sons, Steve Whittinghill and his wife, Shelia, and Kevin Whittinghill and his wife, Betty, all of Morgantown, and Todd Whittinghill and his wife, Kim, of Big Reedy; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Nita Sanders of Morgantown, Beverly Browning of Lindseyville and Teresa Smiley of Hudson; two brothers, Max Johnson of Mount Washington and Lawrence Johnson of Bee Spring; and several nieces and nephews.
