I am actively building my tree and currently focusing on my paternal (Johnson) line, which is among the most difficult to resolve in early colonial days and going back. Much of my maternal side has been addressed by others, particularly John Richburg (Richburg-78) who has been most helpful. I've recently received my Big Y-700 test results and will be working to contact group projects and people who might be able to shed light. Input is always welcome.

Hi Sheryl,

Perhaps you can point me in the right direction. I created a profile today for my living father and assumed that I'd be the profile manager. I'm now seeing that he is the profile manager, which is a problem since he does not use a computer. My mother isn't a computer user either, apart from email. Is there any way that I can be listed as a manager or co-manager for his profile so that I can change his privacy level to Private? I'm already a co-manager for my mother's profile, thanks to John Richburg, who created her profile. Thanks... Brent.

Hi Carlton

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

Are you, like myself, interested in how your family fits into the big tree? Do you have research you’d like to share? When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer (To add your OWN family information), then one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

When site is busy please be patient waiting for Greeter

NOTE- adding Info is limited until you Volunteer and become a FULL member.

Welcome to the family! Glad you joined.
