Mary was born in 1743, the daughter of Casper Johnson and Catharine Unknown. She married Philip Hinkle in 1759 and they were the parents of at least ten children. Mary passed away in 1827 and was buried at Deep Run Mennonite Church East Cemetery in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.[4]
