Biography

William Johnson II was born on 7th July 1813 at Croft in Lancashire, England, the fourth child and second son of Alexander Johnson and his wife Alice Jackson. William was baptised at the local church, Saint Oswald Winwick in Lancashire on 6th August 1813, and was the couple's second child to be named William … the first having been buried at Saint Oswald Winwick on 23rd March 1812 aged "0 years".[1]

William II died at Croft when he was 12 years old. He was buried at Saint Oswld Winwick on 6th July 1826, the day before his 13th birthday.[2]
