Biography

Helen was born in 1911. In 1920, she is living in Frankfort, Indiana with her parents and siblings. ^[1]

She passed away in 1966. Her obituary, in part, read: Helen Marie (Johnson) Wingate, who once operated a restaurant in Thorntown, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bradenton, Fla. She was 55, and had been ill for several years.

Mrs. Wingate had lived in Florida since 1961, but she was a Clinton County native. She was born to John Ray and Pearl A. Johnson here in July of 1911.^{[2] [3]}
