dna 4 cuz back through to George Washington Owens in TN
Fact: Burial (11 July 1992) Sierra Vista, Cochise, Arizona, United States
Fact: http://familysearch.org/v1/LifeSketch When Gaye Johnson (Hill) was 5 years old, the Rush Johnson family was living in Laurel County, KY just down the road from George & Nora Hubbard Johnson and their children. Claudean was a young lady in high school and she would stop by the little house and pick up Gaye to walk to the school. (Gaye) I can remember Dean's long hair, it was way past her knees and so black and shiny. Her sisters would help her to wash her hair in the bathtub, it would take two or more people to help her to get her hair soaped and rinsed, then to get it dried!
Funny enough, I can remember trips TO school, but I don't recall any trips home again. I know that Dean walked me to and from school; I was too little to go by myself, mom had no car at the time and there were too many other siblings for mom to walk with me.
The school Dean attended was Lily High School and I was in the elementary school part.
