Hi Josephine

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-512737

Annie's maiden name was Barnes, as per the sources on her profile

Could you please amend her Last Name at Birth or add me to her Trusted List so I can make the change myself.

Thanks Steve

Greetings Josephine, my great grandmother and her sister were on the Sunda which arrived in Moreton Bay 23 May 1865 from Ireland and you have a vital extract from the Brisbane newspaper describing the voyage. Do you have access to the passenger list? I'm looking for Susan (born 1840) and Mary Maria (born 1844) Donegan or any variation of the spelling of that name. Mary is my maternal great grandmother and I have a story I wrote about both girls and happy to share with any other Donegan family members.

Hi Josephine. I was reviewing information on my Garrett line and seen that you had fleshed out the Garrett line. Thankyou for this, I don't know alot about the Garretts only I'm descended from them. I come down the Esther Ann Garrett line from James and Esther Garrett.

Hi Josephine. I was just connecting Latham-3958 to the Latham family from Balne/Snaith, and I think there must have been another Jarvis Latham who was producing children before the marriage in Sheffield in 1786. Will have another look at it tomorrow. Thanks!

Jarvis Latham's father was also named Jarvis. I have his wife as Elizabeth Cowley and father Mark Latham.
Yes, I think that's right. But if Jarvis sr was born in 1766, the children born before he married in 1786 probably aren't his.

Looking at the parish register images on Findmypast, they don't give a mother's name (grrrr!) but sometimes the father (Jarvis Latham) is described as a cordwainer and other times a farmer, and we know Latham-3944 was the cordwainer. Hopefully they did that consistently so we can tell between the two families.

Hi Josephine,

Would you mind setting the last name of Mary (Unknown-517533) the wife of George Knight to Bridger as per the marriage record sourced on her profile? Or you could accept my Trusted List request and I'd be happy to do it for you.

Regards,

Chris (Sussex Team).

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz, Josephine!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordinating with others is essential.

The Australia Project seems appropriate based on your family tree. Leaders are Irene Dillon, Paul Bech.

Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list to review other possibilities. This is also to be seen at the top of your page, 4th topic, under<Find> and <Projects>.

Have questions? Just ask on my page.
