Ellen Maud Johnson was born about 1850 in the Bahama Islands to Thomas Johnson and Lavinia Cash.
She married William Joseph Menendez, son of Manuel Menendez and Jemima Elizabeth Wilson Holmes Menendez, 18 October 1871 in Nassau, Bahamas. The couple had children William Joseph Jr., Ellen Maud, and Charles Francis Menendez.
Ellen Maud Johnson Menendez passed away in Nassau, Bahamas in 1886 from the complications of childbirth.
