Howard was born in 1880. He m. Margie Harriman in 1903. He was a farmer in Orland, Maine, and lived next door to his only son, Russell Johnson on the Narramissic River. passed away in 1965. He suffered a terrible MVA at the end of his life and he died in the Penobscot Nursing Home, where he received excellent care.
