Johnson, formerly of this city and brother of Mrs. Henry, who resides here, brief mention of which was made in these columns a few days ago."

Died at his home near Rosalia, Tuesdy, March 13, J.C. Johnson, aged 64 years, 1 month and 27 days. The burial took place Thursday at 1 p.m. J. C. Johnson was born in Ireland, Jan 16, 1836. He came over to America while still a boy and settled in Illinois. He moved to Washington in 1844 and resided near Rosalia for the last ten years. He leaves a loving wife and seven children--five boys and two girls--to mourn his sudden death. The deceased was an honest, upright man, honored and respected by all who knew him. His death was very sudden and unexpected, being caused by heart failure. While at work the last mements came and when the doctor arrived he could only confirm that death had claimed the life. The family have the heartfelt sympathy of this community in this their sudden bereavement. Mr. Johnson became convereted to God in March 1889, and united with the United Brethern church and was ever a true and faithful member, a devoted husband and loving father.
