Amos was born in 1733. He was the son of Amos Johnson and Amy Palmer. He passed away in 1805.

Amos was a patriotic citizen. He took the Oath of Fidelity; served on a committee to procure clothing for soldier in 1777, on school committee in 1778. And he was a surveyor of Highways 1780,1782. [1]

Burial: Amos was Ensign in Webb's Regiment. Cornwall Cemetery Cornwall, Litchfield County, Connecticut.[2]
