Biography
When Richard Van Eman Johnson was born on September 23, 1841, his father, John Johnson, was 35 and his mother, Rebecca Van Eman, was 29. He married West Anna Lee on November 17, 1869, in Washington, Pennsylvania. They had two children during their marriage. He had two brothers.
