THE BOONE STANDARD - Saturday, April 20, 1895

Mrs. Nimrod died on Thurs day last, from Dropsy. She was 50 years of age and had been ill for some timep ast. The funeral was on Tuesday afternoon from the N. E. Church.

BOONE CO UNTY DEMOCRAT - Wednesday, April 24, 1895

Mrs. Nimrod Rule died Tuesday morn ing at 4 O'Clock after an illness of about six weeks. She had lived in Boonefo r a good many years. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Johnson and wasma rried to Mr. Rule about nine years ago.

Her first husband, M. M. King,left her a widow. It is a hard blow to Mr. Rule as it leaves him alone in theworld, th ey having no children. The four brothers of the deceased arrived Tuesday night from Superior, Nebraska, namely Samuel, Charles, Jacob, and John Johnson. The deceased was a niece of Mrs. John Zimbelman and Mrs. Koon of Fifth Ward. Fune ral services were held at Marion Street M. E. Church, 2:00 P.M. Wednesday after noon.
