Life
When she was 15 in 1855, Margaret was living with her family in Sussex Street in Sydney, New South Wales.
Marriage
She married Alfred Leggatt on 31 May 1860 at the Scots Church in Sydney, with the rites of the Presbyterian Church.
Margaret was a minor (Aged 20) and needed the permission of her mother (as her father was unavailable for some reason). Alfred was 24.
The witnesses were Sophia Leggatt (Alfred's sister) and Jack Peterson.
Margaret and Alfred had 6 children - William, Laura, Ida, Ella, Cora and Myra.
Life
In 1870 Margaret and Alfred were living in Liverpool Street in Sydney.
In 1904 they were living in Ridge Street in North Sydney,
Death
Margaret died on Tuesday 15 March 1904 at her home at 41 Ridge Street of chronic mephitis (inflammation of the kidney).
She was buried on Wednesday 16 March 1904 in the St. Thomas Church of England Church at North Sydney.
