Biography

Lewis was born in 1784. He was the son of William Johnston and Elizabeth (Lichtenstein) Johnston. He married Mary Ann Pryor. Together, they had sixteen children. His children were Catherine, Marianne, Jane, Elizabeth, Laleah, Lewis, William, Louisa, Emma Louise, Lawrence, Henry Wentworth, Laura, Emma, Annie M., and Amelia (Minnie).[1] He died in 1867.[2]
