Biography
He graduated from Georgia Tech with an engineering degree and then worked in Savannah. At 26 he drowned with two other young men while out sailing in the winter. This was a terrible family tragedy, and due to his grandfather's renown it was covered extensively by the newspaper for weeks. He was engaged to be married to his sister's good friend.
